Sollers launches pickup truck production in Vladivostok

MOSCOW, Jul 17 (PRIME) -- Russian carmaker Sollers has launched production of a pilot batch of pickup trucks under the company’s own brand at the plant in Vladivostok, the company said in a statement on Monday.

“Pilot assembly of the Sollers cars was launched at the plant in Vladivostok,” the statement read.

The company said earlier in July that it planned to expand the model line of cars it produces in Vladivostok soon, and was in negotiations with potential Chinese partners. Mass production of the pickup trucks will be launched in September.
